MEC Motlhabane to officially open Lichtenburg Weighbridge In an effort to enforce compliance on heavy vehicles on the roads, the North West MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management, Dr Mpho Motlhabane will officially open the Lichtenburg Weighbridge. The R42 million facility will assist in sustaining the road infrastructure by decreasing numbers of overloading trucks. The MEC will further lead the National Trans Kalahari Corridor Joint Law Enforcement Operation Scheduled to take place in Zeerust.
